Very brief rundown of converting an old Dell Inspiron 7000 into a digital frame.
Approximate costs involved were:
Laptop Free
Hard drive £8
Wireless Card £7
ATi Remote £10
Picture Frame £9
Extra 64mb Ram £5
Total £39
Ovbiously the remote and extra Ram were not necessary as it worked perfectly well
without them, but the
remote is cool and very handy if other network PCs are not on, and you can never have too
much memory can you ;-)
